New Moon Oracles - digging into the gifts of life

A wild wander provides deep insights this month from pasture and 'cave'

New Moon Oracles for late August onwards to Autumn (or Spring) Equinox.

I took a walk again for this month’s oracle insights and inspiration. A mini wild pilgrimage as I like to refer to these intuitive wanders. (If you are interested in the notion of wild pilgrimages, I am writing an Antlered Path book which has this very much at it’s heart, so watch out for future posts where I will share snippets of my ‘work in progress’!).

It would have been a lot easier to stay inside, out of the heat and consult runes, oghams or cards. Perhaps scry water, listen to the birds or do an early morning ‘frith’ at the doorway. But as pagan animist, I feel the messages from the living ecosystem more clearly as a rule, I pick up on shifts, insights and inspirations through the smallest of expressions of life, light, wind. It animates my seer senses to be out with the wild edges and allies. So when I can, I will bring messages from the land. Perhaps in the depths of winter I may not have that impulse as clearly….
