Blessings from the trees: Silver Birch and Rowan

In this new series of posts linked to Tree Spirits, I share healing blessings and have a rummage around in some of the lore connected to Silver Birch and Rowan. Fresh from the stirrings of Imbolc.

I am starting with a new “series”, (sounds swish!) on tree spirit related magic and to begin this journey, I was guided to bring in Silver Birch and Rowan.

I keep feeling and noticing Silver Birch in the Otherworldly forays I have been having and am thinking a lot about Rowan and it’s wild edgedness. Both trees are linked in some way to Imbolc, to Brigid and to the liminal shift in seasons between Winter and Spring. I aim to share some of this and also my own blessings that have been gifted to me from the rooted spirits themselves.

This is therefore a sacred pilgrimage and I invite you to close your eyes for a few moments, breathe, connect to the Silver Birch Spirit and to Rowan Spirit - open and curious - blessed by their enduring and fresh resilience wisdom.
